  • Does PetQ ID tag work in my country?

    Yes! PetQ ID tags work world-wide, we ship our tags internationally. Shipping is free when you are in Australia.

  • How long it takes to receive my order?

    If you are in Australia, it normally takes 3 business days, if you are outside Australia, the international airmail usually takes around 10 business days.

  • Why should I user PetQ ID tag compared to other tags and micro-chip implants

    Unlike traditional engraved tags the PetQ ID tag can contain a huge amount of information and is instantly updateable with new information when your or your pet's circumstances change. Imagine that you go on holiday where doesn't have great cell phone reception and your pets are with your parents or friends and run off, someone who finds them will have problem to contact you, with PetQ, you can simply update the contact information to include your parent's or friend's phone number.

    Unlike micro-chips the PetQ ID tag is clearly visible and readable using common smartphone so whoever finds your lost pet can return them to you quickly and easily. A standard micro-chip would need to be read by a vet or the RSPCA before your pet could be returned home.

  • Can I add my pet's name and phone number to PetQ ID tag?

    Yes! we offer personalized engraving service to all our tags, so you can put your pet's name and contact information in a traditional way.

  • How secure is my data?

    We understand that privacy and security are important to you. We use the latest encryption technology when we store your data, your data is secure with us.

  • What's the GPS Notification feature?

    The GPS feature is a "passive" search using software embedded in mobile devices of the person that scanned the tag. When the tag is scanned, the system determines that it came from a mobile device (like a smartphone or tablet) and sends an email to the pet owner with the GPS map of the location where the scan took place.

  • Do I need a smart phone to use PetQ?

    It is not necessary for you to own a smartphone, you can manage and view you pet's profile on any computer connected to the internet.

  • What if the finder doesn't have a smartphone or doesn't know QR code?

    Each of PetQ ID tag comes with an unique human readable online web page address engraved on them, if the finder doesn't have a smartphone or doesn't know how to scan a qr code, this person can simply type the URL address on any internet connected device(computer, laptop, tablet) to see the information and contact you immediately.

  • I didn't receive the activation email when I creating my account.

    It most likely the activation email didn't send successfully, please check following if this happens: Did you put your email address correctly? Did you check your spam folder?   • How many pet profiles can I add to my account?

    Now you can add up to 5 pet profiles in your free account, Business, shelters, and non-profit organizations can have unlimited number of pet profiles.

  • What happens if my tag is lost or damaged?

    Don't worry, lost or damaged tags can be easily replaced. Your pets information is still safe and active on their online profile page and we can create another tag for them that will link right to it. All you need to do is contact us and order a replacement.

  • My tag can't be scanned

    All our tags are tested before packing for code clarity and operation. Although there are many QR code readers available from different developers we recommend using the i-nigma QR code reader, which is available on iPhone, Android, Windows OS and Blackberry. Code readers also rely on the ability of your phone to get a clear image of the code so please try cleaning your phones camera lens or make sure this is sufficient light.   • Return Policy

    We are concerned about your satisfaction with the goods you purchase from us. If goods you purchase from PetQ(as opposed to a third party) arrive damaged or with a manufacturer’s defect, we will be happy to provide you with a replacement or a refund if you contact us within 14 days of receipt.

    There is one exception to our Return Policy described above. Personalized tags cannot be returned unless there was a mistake on our part. We cannot exchange these products due to a mistyped entry on the original order, because customized products cannot be resold. So please be very sure to accurately place your order.
